The Affinity Of Form And Space

Surrounding have a profound ability to influence how one acts in that space. We are constantly immersed in an environment, chosen or situational, and each person must decide their interaction with it. In my work there, is an endless "conversation" that is always shifting between person and environment. As a photographer, I was intrigued by the affinity that could be created and captured between two contrasting variables.

Putting dancers in an industrial setting allowed me to observe these interactions; their fluid body movements have the power to alter how we perceive fixed setting. The locations lay the framework for the body to move within it. This symbiotic relationship is just that, interdependent and inseparable, bringing these elements together, capturing their synergy through photography.
